Wild Books ~ The following books are soul-stirring;

-

Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Phd  ~This book, listed two years on the New York Times best seller list, welcomes some serious soul searching and learning about all of the amazing gifts we hold as women. With the bottom line message of taking responsibility for the chaos we create in our lives. “Women are hungry for basic regard from the culture surrounding them…to be treated respectfully, to be accepted, and in the very least to be meant without stereotyping.”

Becoming a Woman of Destiny, by Suzan Johnson Cook ~I’ll share a prayer with you from this book called “TRUST” ~ ”Rock my boat today, dear God. As your disciples were told to go into deeper waters, may I, too, leave the familiar, the shallow, and begin to discover parts of this ocean life I’ve never known.  I’m ready to take a risk. I’m ready to jump off the diving board.  I realize that you have given me everything I need to go forward.  Let me swim out to meet my new adventures.”

The author, Lisa Nichols of No Matter What talks about the difference between “believing” and “knowing”. When you “believe” something its like you are trying to convince yourself of whatever the case may be. However, when you KNOW, its absolute and non-negotiable. Read this book! - - -

Oh, Shift! by Jennifer Powers – Really make the connection with your thoughts and how they either propel you along or stop you dead in your tracks and how you can, in fact, make “The Shift”.  Our egos are ever so powerful and often “masquerade as the enlightened truth.”

Succulent Wild Woman by Sark ~ This book prompted the very first Wild Women Party in October of ’09.  Nothing but sweet gratitude to my friend, Dara Charlton for gifting this book to me.  The author Sark is simply real and everyone of us can relate to her raw truths about life experiences.
